Tickling the ivories on acoustic piano, electric keyboard and bass synthesizer is Chris Noble, a classically trained piano player who studied at several institutions including York University and Seneca College's Independent Music Production program.
His later teachings from Dave Matheson have contributed to his blues, hip hop and funk syle. It was at his studies at college where Chris met Quatro's other core member, guitarist Alfred Chow. Together they formed Quatro and have been performing accross Canada ever since.
Multi-instrumentalist soulful sensation, Alfred Chow, has been playing music since he was was six, starting with piano, eventually moving to guitar and any other instruments he could find. Performing music is a passion of his. He has been performing as a guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist professionally for the past 5 years allowing for consistent touring in the United States and Canada. Alfred has experience playing in a variety of styles such as Jazz/Blues, Hip-Hop, Rock, Roots/Folk, Classical/Contemporary, and Reggae. These projects have brought him to many notable stages such as Roy Thompson Hall, Celebration Square Mississauga, Art Gallery of Ontario, and Horseshoe Tavern, as well as festivals such as NXNE, CMW, Friendship Festival, and Soul of the City. Alfred is also one of the founding members of Quatro.
Toe tappin', foot stompin' Scott Nickol first fell in love with the drums at the age of 12, and found great joy learning and performing in various after school music programs and his metal band Poison Delivery. After high school, Scott began studying classical percussion at York University, but later decided to take a year off and focus on his own projects. He later completed Seneca’s Independent Music Production program.
These days, Scott teaches privately, while promoting himself as a session player and working on his solo album. He currently performs with electro-rock band Reveltones, folk-rock artist Sarah Burton, and jazz-pop cover band Quatro. Scott looks forward to sharing his experiences and knowledge of music with others with the goal of spreading the same positive energy that music has given him.
Marie Goudy is a trumpet player, composer, arranger and educator born inToronto, Ontario. She started playing trumpet at the age of eleven, and began her professional career at fifteen.
Marie completed her Bachelor’sdegree in jazz studies at the University of Toronto in 2012, and has madeher mark on Toronto’s professional scene playing jazz, classical, pop,Latin and show music. She has performed with many notable musiciansincluding Benny Golson, Maria Schneider and Cleo Laine.
